Mackie SRM450 powered speakers (450W)
Whether you need speakers for a DJ, Public Accouncement, Speeches, Church Service, or Iron Maiden tribute band, you need loudspeakers that are highly robust, and provide high clarity at enormous volumes.
The Mackie SRM450s (450W) are our most popular speaker due to their impressively loud, crisp sound, their light weight, easy to carry design, and their robustness. These speakers are powered, so can be plugged directly into your microphone/acoustic guitar/iPod etc without the need for an amplifier. They can be mounted on poles, and work great with our range of 18" subwoofers. The Mackie SRM450s are also great as a foldback speakers for a band or DJ.
The Mackie SRM450s are 2-Way speakers with a 1.75" tweeter and 12" woofer; this provides fairly good bass. However, if you are needing speakers for an event that will involve dancing, we highly reccommend adding one of our 18" subwoofers, they do make a big difference, especially for House/Trance/Drum'n'Bass/DubStep. JBL-PRO JRX118SP Powered 18" Subwoofer (300W)
If you are expecting dancing at your event, and are on a budget, the JRX118SP is the perfect choice.
It's 18" woofer is excellent at providing that 'little bit extra' for house parties, 40th's and Weddings, it also integrates perfectly with the Mackie SRM450 speakers, so we have setup a package combining the two, you can find it: here
If your looking for a hard-hitting subwoofer which will really drive a Drum'n'Bass/Trance party, or your needing to mic a kick-drum we would recommend moving up to the PRX518s subwoofer listed below.

JBL-PRO PRX518s Powered 18" Subwoofer, (500W)
The PRX518s is the most powerful subwoofer we have to offer. It provides a massive 500W of bass, and would suit events in which a large amount of 'punchy' bass is needed, such as a heavy DJ, or Kick-Drum amplification. Compact and powerful, the PRX518S offers the performance of an 18" subwoofer in a package not much larger than a typical 15" sub. It integrates perfectly with both the Mackie SRM450 speakers, and the JBL-PRO PRX535.
The PRX518s should be your first choice if you are to be playing a large amount of DubStep/Drum'n'Bass/Trance. For complete DubStep nuts, we reccommend getting two of these so you can feel your veins shaking.
Keep in mind however, if you are going to be using this in a residential area you can expect noise control. Bass is omni-directional (travels in all directions), and can even through walls without much loss. These speakers may be heard across entire blocks, please keep this in mind when selecting equipment to hire as we won't be giving any refunds if your party is shut down at 9pm.
